Bee Safe is our new project where our service users will work with the police to train shopkeepers and businesses on how they can help a vulnerable person in need. People with a Learning Disability and/or Autism will help the shopkeeper understand how they can help and communicate with someone in distress.
The service users can also sign up to the project and will be given a Bee Safe badge and emergency contact card. They will be told to look out for the Bee Safe sticker in windows which will show the shops and business that have been trained.
If you know of a local business or shop that would be happy to support this project please contact us at the office and we will arrange for a visit by our training team.
