Carers sessions
Now the summer holidays are over we are in full swing planning our carers sessions and Health and Wellbeing activities.
Here is a list of what is going on;
Thursday 11th Sep – Local Authority presenting their Special Educational Needs Improvement Plan. (Online)
Thursday 18th Sep – Valentines Mansion, watercolour painting session.
Wednesday 1st Oct – Tower of London, to see the Remembrance Poppy Display.
Wednesday 8th Oct – NHS Health Hub in the Exchange, Recognising poor mental health in young people.

Learning Disability Partnership Board
The Partnership Board working co-productively with Health and the Local Authority have been holding workshops to make our new Learning Disability Plan (Strategy) for Redbridge. Summer Fun
Summer 2025 was packed full of fun activities for our families. Many were fully booked and this year we offered flexibility of independent travel. Fun for all included favorites such as Valentines Boats, Pony Riding, Margate, London Zoo, Royal Gun Powder Mills and much more. We continued our Youth Forum with them organising a session at Moby Golf to increase engagement. The day to day office work continued with signposting, benefit form filling and answering questions. We have had fantastic feedback about the summer activities and have already started to book more activities for the October half term. Our activity for the Spring half term is the Dinosaur Show at the Redbridge Drama Centre. Unfortunately this session is fully booked. Dinosaur photos to follow.
Learning Disability Partnership Board

Fun for All
We will be making our first visit to the Redbridge Drama Centre on 30th December to see a performance of the Snow Queen. Bookings now closed.
